Search & Seize Guide

You may be thinking, all of this is great but I have no idea where to begin to even begin this search. This is not just a blog, but a place to help you on your journey like so many others helped me with mine. Below, I'll give you a few steps and tips on where to start.
PRAY: Each individual has their own path so you must personally connect with God through prayer to find out what message God is trying to deliver to you.
PUT GOD AT THE CENTER: God is the main focus of this journey so you want to focus all of your desires and necessities around God and let him take care of the rest.
KNOW GODS PROMISES: God has a set of promises that are yours, and you need to know what they are so you stay in his will.
READ YOUR BIBLE: The Bible has so many accounts that you may be able to relate to and it tells you what God is expecting of you to receive your promises.
BE OPEN: God may require that you stretch or walk into something you're not ready for, so be open to Gods will and embrace it. If you're unsure, remember his promises.
FIND YOUR TRIBE: At my church we call each other our tribe, people we do life with. More than just an occasional Sunday, but people who can hold you accountable and love you in the time of your search.
MAKE TIME FOR GOD: It would be great for you to get on a schedule to where you commit time to God one on one.
RESEARCH: Once you start reading your Bible, there may be some things you do not understand. It's okay to do your own research to look up words or meanings to better understand. You can even read the Bible in different versions like MSG (Message) that puts the verbiage in a more understandable language.
REFLECT: Some of it can be overwhelming, but its okay to take some time and go to God and ask him to help you understand what you've been reading and it'll give you time to listen to what he wants you to know.
ENJOY: This process is supposed to be enjoyable, this is your Father that you're searching and He loves you, so have fun with it!
